Since
I completed my photography degree in 1985, I've continued to update
my skills. In 1996, I took a year out to catch up with the computer
age and studied an MA in Interactive Multimedia. Yet I've never
lost my interest in experimenting with 19th century photographic
techniques and liquid emulsions.
I'm
fascinated by people and their experiences. Over the last few years,
I've been working on projects with older people and intergenerational
projects using life stories and memories as a starting point for
photography, creative writing and video.
Every
project brings a new challenge and I approach each one with a fresh
eye using the techniques relevant to the theme and desired outcome.
As education officer at the Museum of the Moving Image and for the British Film Institute for 20 years, I have gained a great deal of experience in devising, project managing, delivering and fundraising for projects. I'm happy to advise on these aspects too.
